The Science of Things is a 1999 album by the post-grunge band Bush, the last Bush album released by Trauma Records. The album has many electronic influences and, while successful, sold less than its predecessors, reaching double platinum and #11 in the US.

  • In an interview [1] Rossdale revealed that the song "Letting the Cables Sleep" was written for a friend who had contracted HIV. This song was aired in the season 6 episode of ER entitled "Such Sweet Sorrow" and marks the final appearances of George Clooney and Julianna Margulies.
  • Apocalyptica has remixed their song "Letting the Cables Sleep."
  • "Spacetravel" features backing vocals by Rossdale's wife, Gwen Stefani.
