The Saugus Advertiser

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Saugus Advertiser is the oldest newspaper covering the town of Saugus, Massachusetts that is still being printed. It was originally founded by Colonel Alfred Woodward in the early 1930s. Due to its longevity it has a special status with the Town of Saugus, and it is currently the only place Saugus legal notices are printed.

It is released once per week on Thursdays. While its circulation figures are no longer published, they were around 5,000 the last time they were.

It is now part of the Community Newspaper Company, Inc. Its address is 72 Cherry Hill Drive, Beverly, Massachusetts.
