"The River of Dreams" is a single by the singer Billy Joel. It is the title track and first single from his 1993 album River of Dreams. The song was a hit, peaking at #3 in the US and UK charts. It also hit the top spot in Australia (beating off of the top spot "(I Can't Help) Falling in Love with You" by UB40 and being beaten off the spot by "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)" by Meat Loaf) and reached the Top 10 in most countries. The song's follow-up single, "All About Soul", reached the top 40 in the US and UK charts. The song also reached the #1 spot on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart.
