This is the second single in Sara Bareilles career but her first Live single.

Sara Bareilles did a live version of River by Joni Mitchell ,But on the cover it has been titled The River (live) instead of River (live), It has not been included on any of her albums Careful Confessions, Little Voice, The First One, The Summer Sessions or her Live Session EP.
This is so far the only single of hers to not chart or to have a music video, The reason why it did not chart is because it was only released in itunes and the reason why it did not have a music video is because it was not a main stream single.
