The first series of The Restaurant is television series expected to air in 2008.[1] Auditions are due to take place in Manchester and London during March and April of 2008.[2]

Raymond Blanc is expected to reprise his role in the series, and nine couples are due to once again compete for the chance to open their own restaurant backed by Blanc.
