The Rave is a concert venue and landmark in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Rave hosts touring bands from across the globe. [2]
[edit] Divisions
The building is divided into five separate venues, making it theoretically possibly to have five different acts playing at the same time.
The Rave Bar is a small intimate club. [3]It was hosted numerous acts had their Wisconsin debut including: the Dave Matthews Band, Les Claypool, Third Eye Blind, Smashmouth, Blink 182, Creed, Pearl Jam and Tantric.
The Rave Hall on the main level is a larger concert style venue, second in size only to the Eagles Ballroom above it. The Eagles Hall is a Miami-style venue built in the basement of the building.
The Eagles Ballroom is a 25,000 square feet ({{Convert}} no longer accepts sqm

instead. Please refer to {{convert}}'s talk page for the reasoning behind this. Sorry for any inconvenience.) venue with a capacity of approximately 3,500 people. [3] It has a long history. Originally a ballroom, it has a large, oval hardwood floor with a stage on one side. There is a second floor, with a row of balconies around the oval, from one side of the stage to the other. It was named to the National Register of Historic Places on July 29, 1986. [1] The club is a significant example of 19th and 20th century Revival architecture, especially from 1924, 1927, and 1939.
The Vibe Room, the newest addition to the building, was designed to feature up and coming bands similar to The Rave Bar, but to also cater to DJ's as well.
