The Rap Hype is an online based urban music media provider. Originally started as a podcast, formats are also now streaming and online with Hi5.com). They run two shows. The first is called "MixTape". This consists of full length music tracks for artists. They are better known for their second show called "Artist Block" where they interview urban artists in the music industry. Types of music include hip hop, rap, and R&B. Both major and Independent labels are covered. Some of the artists that have been interviewed are rapper Three 6 Mafia, Crime Mob, Rich Boy, Joell Ortiz, Young Buck, Champ Bailey, Guce (from Bullys wit Fullys), and Paula Deanda (R&B/Pop singer).
