The Queen's Walk
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Queen's Walk is a promenade located on the South Bank of the River Thames in London, England, between Lambeth Bridge and Tower Bridge. In 1996, it was recognised as a foundation for establishing the Thames Path national trail through London.
This is a convenient route of several miles for tourists to walk from the London Eye observation wheel to the Tower of London, crossing the Thames at Tower Bridge. This route will pass the Tate Gallery (a modern art museum housed in the shell of an old power station), an ancient abbey, and a (commercial) museum of the London Blitz, terminating in an area with several touristic pubs.
