The QUIT FOR LIFE Programme

'"The QUIT FOR LIFE Programme'" is a cognitive behaviour therapy for smokers. The programme is a development of a smoking cessation programme originally developed in New Zealand by Paul Sulzberger and David Marks . This programme was called the Isis Smoking Cessation Programme. The QUIT FOR LIFE Programme was first published in 1993 the UK by the British Psychological Society (Marks, 1993). A revised and updated version was published in 2005 (Marks, 2005).
