The Punkles are a band that performs songs by The Beatles in punk style. They formed in 1998 and are from Hamburg, Germany.
They toured in October 2005 and with Beatallica, and they also did another tour in 2006 also with Beatallica.[citation needed] Unlike Betallica they perform the Beatles songs "as they are", singing the same lyrics and playing cover versions of the originals, just a "little" faster and with a punk feeling.
They are quite successful in Europe and Japan where their best of CD, as well as their latest album "Pistol", entered the top 50 album charts.[citation needed]
