- This film aired on Disney Channel UK on 26 May 2006.
- When this film first aired on Disney Channel in the United States, it was broadcast in widescreen, being the first Disney Channel original animated film broadcast in widescreen on television, but was later re-broadcast in a cropped full screen aspect ratio, meaning that the film is currently broadcast in pan and scan. The DVD was also in pan and scan. However, the film will be re-broadcast in widescreen on Disney Channel HD, as the channel will lauch its HD channel in early-2008.
- In this film, Wizard Kelly's face is slightly revealed.
- When the Oscar clone is playing Stuffball, Mangler Mania, the guy he's going up against, has a catchphrase like Hulk Hogan.
- A continuity error is shown in the movie. In the TV series, Penny and her friends are 14 and attend a Junior High School. In the movie, they're all 16 and in High School. This means that the movie skips an entire year which might have included Penny and her friends' graduation from Junior High and their 15th birthdays. This may have just been a forward jump used as a plot element to end off the series. However if that's the case it fails to explain why Penny aged 2 years, yet Bebe and Cece continue to be babies.
- Dr. Carver's appearance was inspired by The Penguin in the Tim Burton movie, Batman Returns.
- An extended alternate ending was shown on the DVD and one time on Disney Channel and it was seen Suga Mama and Puff are giants and since this is the finale of The Proud Family, they may stay giant forever. Also in this ending Cashew (Penny's sidekick Genome) has joined Proud Snacks and is presumably living with the Proud's as he always wanted to be part of a family and really seemed to like the Proud's
- Bobby Proud has a different voice actor in this movie.
- Sticky mispronounces "yacht" as "yatch". He probably gets this from 15 Cent as he does the same thing when he informs Sticky of an After Party on his yacht and Sticky with a horrified look on his face corrects him (Penny accidentally sank it earlier in the movie when she, Dijonay, LaCenaga, Sticky, Zoe and Penny's sidekick Genome Cashew stole it to reach Legome Island).
- The scene were Penny gets ready to confront the clones resemble the scene from So the Drama were Kim puts on the battle suit.
- Carver's super peanuts resemble the super soldiers in the Marvel Universe
- The teenage rapper Fifteen Cents is an obviously reference to the rapper 50 Cent.
- This is the fifth and last to date Disney Channel Original Movie to be based of a Disney Channel series. The first one was Jett Jackson: The Movie, the second one was The Even Stevens Movie, the third one was The Lizzie McGuire Movie, the fourh Kim Possible Movie: So The Drama. This is also the second Disney Channel Original Movie to be animated.
