The Prophecy CD is the 2nd release from Thunderlip. It is the follow up to their successful 2005 self titled release Thunderlip.
On this album the vocal treatment is a little more in-line with an earlier day of metal and southern rock; the bass holds the back beat with a steady, pulsing, very tasteful blues-style old-school-southern-rock feel; the drums are steady and driving and remain true to their sound and their southern roots; and the guitars kick your ass with well-placed, intentionally-killer riffs, runs, taps, and solos. This album also features a bonus track - Thunderlip covers Deep Purple’s “Highway Star”
