The Promoter Magazine

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

After three successful years as the voice of the underground hip hop/rap music community in Michigan, The Promoter Magazine expanded their print publication into the Midwest. It is currently distributed in Chicago, Atlanta, St. Louis, Kansas City, East St. Louis, Cleveland, Dayton, Columbus, Toledo, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Gary, Milwaukee, Madison, and Atlanta, as well as internationally in Toronto and Windsor, Ontario.

Its goal is to provide both entertaining articles and also marketing and promotions for independent record labels, major record labels, and small businesses to help them get their message out about their products and services.

The Promoter Magazine also provides information about the music industry and tools for independent artists. They are developing an online distribution company eMusic Digital for rappers singers, deejays, music producers and aspiring artists to come and launch CD projects. In addition, The Promoter Magazine is launching a new[when?] internet radio station called: THE PROMOTER LIVE. It will play uncensored music 24 hours a day, allowing underground artists to submit their music and get it played: specializing in underground rap, with a strong focus on hip hop and R&B.
