The Preytells are a four piece indie rock band from Perth, Western Australia.

The Preytells rose to prominence as a result of their win at the 2005 National Campus Band Competition.
Recent events of notable mention include:
- Next Big Thing Semi Finalists (2005)
- Australian National Campus Band Competition Winners (2005) .[2]
- Support act for bands such as The Panda Band, Snowman, New Rules For Boats, The Silents, The Fault, Red Jezebel (2005/6)
- Supporting The Stems on their exclusive Christmas Show, playing to a sold out capacity crowd (2005)
- Playing at several festivals of note, including RTRFM’s 'In The Pines Festival' and the YAC It Up Festival (2006).
- Recording of their debut EP at their own 'Martyn Noakes' Studio, engineered by Audrey and produced by The Preytells. (2006)
- Winning Triple J's Unearthed competition to play at the Southbound festival in Busselton, (2006).[3]
Since then the band have gone on to release their first EP Could I Change Your Mind, and will be launching two new singles "Shout"/"I'm So Sorry" in May, 2008. The Preytells have recently announced that they will be supporting The Warlocks in 3 major cities on their first Australian Tour. It has also been rumoured that the band have recently signed with Hulahoop Productions and will be releasing a feature album later this year.
