"The Politics of Dancing" is a hit song by the UK techno-pop group Re-Flex, released in 1983 (see 1983 in music).

It became the biggest hit of their career, peaking at #28 in the UK and #24 in the US. The band managed to get two more singles into the UK Singles Chart, but only managed one more song on the Billboard Hot 100. This song remains their signature song and they are considered a one-hit wonder because of this song's massive popularity and the group's unpopular run of follow-up singles.
