The Poker Game (2003), written and directed by C.C. McCandless, is an independent film from Chatham Light Productions starring Michael Poignand, Johnny Kinsman, Kelly DeNicolo, Niko Bolas, Eric Chesin, Stuart Marshall, and Ernest Waddell. The cult hit is a contemporary noir following seven characters through interweaving storylines culminating in an illegal, high stakes back room poker game. The film won the audience award in the new filmmakers program at the Howl Festival in New York in 2003.

The film is a microbudget feature shot on location in New York, including some scenes at a famous Times Square hotel. Second unit shooting took place in Las Vegas.
The film was shot on miniDV using a Canon XL-1s camera.
The shoot lasted 17 days.
