The Plaza Tower is a 103m tower block, currently under construction, in Leeds, England. It is the second phase of a development in Leeds City Centre, consisting of 572 student apartments. Upon completion it will become the tallest student residential building in the United Kingdom and the second tallest building in Leeds after Bridgewater Place.
The original planning application was an approved 26 storey scheme which was altered into the 37 storey tower currently under construction. The design was submitted by Carey Jones Architects and the main contractor on site will be Shepherd Construction. Work on the foundations began in May 2007, with a completion date of 2009.
