[edit] Story Synopsis

Ned Seagoon is a budding rock-n-roll saxophonist who yearns to be 'discovered'. In an attempt to help Seagoon fulfill his dream, Hercules Grytpype-Thynne and Count Jim Moriarty take him to Stonehenge and bury him. Sure enough, Seagoon is 'discovered' by a party of archaeologists and in due course becomes famous, not as a rock-n-roll saxophonist but as a relic from the Pleistocene Period - in short, the 'Pleistocene Man'. From that day on, Seagoon's life becomes a frenzy of misadventures as he tries to deal with and then escape from his new-found fame as a 6,000-year-old man.
