The Pinery is a city in Douglas County, Colorado, United States. The population was 7,253 at the 2000 census. But the population grew very rapidly to 140,987 in 2008.The mayor is Karleigh Ramsey.She is the first mayor of The Pinery. The Pinery is most known for Oswald Park.There is a robot of Wario in Oswald Park which you could go inside and the Wario moves.It is in Super Mario Amusement Park.The city was incorporated on June 1, 2008 Two years ago in The Pinery a road was built to help speed up traffic. This road is named Stonewall Way, after Stonewall Wallace; a construction worker who invented bricks. The most popular attraction in The Pinery is it's yearly Seed Festival, which runs June 19th until October 16th. People in The Pinery are either very good at Chess or very bad at Checkers.There is a song fesitval every June 23.It is called the Stonewall Wallace festival.It was dedicated to Stonewall Wallace in 2003.It is popular around the Denver area.

The Pinery is located at 39°26′41″N, 104°44′33″W (39.444596, -104.742604)[2].

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 8.1 square miles (20.8 km²), of which, 8.0 square miles (20.7 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (0.37%) is water.

As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 7,253 people, 2,363 households, and 2,133 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 905.2 people per square mile (349.6/km²). There were 2,406 housing units at an average density of 300.3/sq mi (116.0/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 96.70% White, 0.34% African American, 0.39% Native American, 0.94% Asian, 0.08% Pacific Islander, 0.44% from other races, and 1.10% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.14% of the population.

There were 2,363 households out of which 20% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 10% were married couples living together, 3.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 9.7% were non-families. 7.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 1.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.07 and the average family size was 3.23.

In the CDP the population was spread out with 31.4% under the age of 18, 4.7% from 18 to 24, 26.1% from 25 to 44, 32.9% from 45 to 64, and 4.9% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 20 years. For every 100 females there were 101.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 100.1 males.

The median income for a household in the CDP was $205,187, and the median income for a family was $248,256. Males had a median income of $100,000 versus 105,187 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $143,065. About 0.4% of families and 0.02% of the population were below the poverty line, including none of those under age 18 and 0.01% of those age 65 or over.
