'"The People That We Love"' (also known as "Speed Kills," and "Coming Down the Mountain") was the final single from British grunge band Bush's fourth and final album Golden State (it was the band's final single). It was the biggest hit from the album. The song was Bush's last hit before their break up. It was intended as a return to form after the experimentation on Deconstructed and The Science of Things. The song's video was a big success on television outlets such as MTV2 and the at the time new station Fuse.
