The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection was founded in 1961, based on the collection donated by Pavle Beljanski, a diplomat and art collector, to the Serbian people on November 18, 1957. The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection presents the finest works of Serbian art from the period between 1900-1970. It is located in Novi Sad, the capital of the Serbian province Vojvodina, on Gallery Square 2 (Трг Галерија 2).
The collection is arranged chronologically, starting with works from the fist generation of modernists, including Nadežda Petrović, Milan Milovanović, and Kosta Miličević, continuing with works from the most prominent representatives of Serbian art between the two World Wars, including Sava Šumanović, Milan Konjović, Petar Dobrović, Ivan Radović, Jovan Bijelić, Petar Lubarda, Sretan Stojanović, and Risto Stijović. There are also works from painters of the second half of the 20th century, including Zora Pavlović, Liza Križanić, Živko Stojsavljević, Milenko Šerban, and Ljubica Sokić.
Apart from the Pavle Beljanski collection, the permanent exhibition includes the Pavle Beljanski Memorial Hall (1966), and the Artist Memorial Hall (1971).
