The Parachute Centre

The Parachute Centre is a BPA affiliated parachuting centre and skydiving drop zone that operates from Tilstock Airfield near Whitchurch, Shropshire. The Airfield used was originally a World War II Airfield, RAF Tilstock. The aircraft currently in use at the centre are a Cessna 206 and a GA8 Airvan. It is one of 25 BPA affiliated centres located over the United Kingdom.[1]

The Parachute Centre formerly called "The Sport Parachute Centre" held two of the Largest gathering of parachutists in the UK with over 650 registered skydivers 1990 and 750 skydivers in 1991.[citation needed]
