The Oxford College of Engineering is one of the colleges in Bangalore under the VTU Visvesvaraya Technological University recognized by Government of Karnataka and approved by All India Council of Technical Education AICTE, New Delhi.

Founded in 1974 by SRI S NARASA RAJU, the Oxford Educational Institutions is the Brain Child of CHILDREN'S EDUCATION SOCIETY (REGD). The Institutions are located mainly at 1st Phase, J.P. Nagar, Bangalore-560078, India.

The Oxford College of engineering is affiliated to the Visveswaraiah Technological University, recognized by Government of Karnataka and approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi that provides professional education in various courses of engineering(information science, computer science, mechanical, bio technology, electrical, electronics and communication), MBA and MCA.

The college campus is set in a 10.5 acre campus and is situated along National Highway (N.H. 7), 10 km from Bangalore City.

[edit] Admission Procedure And Eligibility

The students to the Oxford College of Engineering are admitted on merit, as per the directives the Government of Karnataka from time to time, both to the Government Quota and the Management Quota.

Eligibility for admission to B.E. courses is a pass in 10+2 class or equivalent with a minimum 35% in Science group. Mathematics and Physics are compulsory Science subjects. Any other Science subjects like Chemistry can be the Third Science subjects.

Eligibility for MBA course is a pass in any 3-year Degree course with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Eligibility for MCA course is a pass in any 3-year Degree course with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. The student must have studied Mathematics in 10+2 course or Degree level.
