The Other Children is the debut album from the Montreal-based rock band of the same name. The Other Children recorded this self-titled debut album at Montreal’s Suite Red Room studios between 2002 and 2005. The album was released on ShovelCat records in January of 2006.

The cover art for the album features a half-face shot of Ben Pelchat mirrored upon itself to form a complete face. The aim was a low-fi look, in order to contrast the sometimes hi-tech rock sound.
The album artwork was designed by Ben Pelchat and his brother Liam.
