The Original Edit is the third official album by producer Dr. Zeus. All the vocals of this album were by Lehmber Hussainpuri. This album was released in May 2005 after much controversy. The first single off the album was Je Jatt Bigar Gaya sung by Lehmber Hussainpuri. The second single off the album was Das Ki Soniyeh, also sung by Lehmber Hussainpuri. This album was the reason for the breakup between two great bhangra performers: Lehmber Hussainpuri & Dr. Zeus

[edit] Meaning of the title
The Original Edit means that even though it is an edited version, it still is the original version out there. This was due to the controversy and early release of the mixtape by Lehmber Hussainpuri in India.
[edit] Controversy
It is believed that a frequent Punjab2000 Message Board Vistor by the name of "Razorhedge" was secretly recording vocals with Lehmber and selling them to other producers behind Dr. Zeus's back. There are also rumours that Razorhedge and Lehmber Hussainpuri had an intimate releationship with each other as they were seen exchanging kisses several times by Bhupinder Singh Uppal. None of this has been confirmed though.

[edit] Reviews
Even though the album won "The Album of The Year" award, it still wasn't considered a top class album. The main reason for this was because the Indian mixtape was released 2 months earlier. Many people liked Folk Attack (Indian mixtape of The Original Edit) rather than the original version because it didn't contain raps and MC's. The Original Edit was a great album for modern bhangra fans and Folk Attack was a great mixtape for older bhangra fans. So with one album/mixtape, all types of bhangra fans were satisfied.
