The Old Haunts are an Olympia, WA musical group, currently consisting of Craig Extine (guitar, vocals), Scott Seckington (bass), and Tobi Vail (drums). Although the band typically is defined as garage rock or indie rock due in part to Kill Rock Stars notorious roster, the band exhibits additional qualities similar to southern swamp rock - a rarity. Arpeggiated twangy guitar riffs, pounding bass lines and conventional rock drumming are recurring features of the group's swamp rock dynamic. The Old Haunts have featured a revolving door of members including Danny Sasaki, Natalie Cox, and Chris Sutton. The band's most well known member is Tobi Vail, previously a member of riot grrrl band Bikini Kill.
