The O'Keefes

The O'Keefes were a short-lived American television series, shown on the WB Television Network and premiered on May 22, 2003.
The series concerned the O'Keefe family: Harry (played by Judge Reinhold) and Ellie (played by Kirsten Nelson, best known for her role in the TV series Thanks), together with their children, Lauren (Tania Raymonde), Danny (Joseph Cross) and Mark (Matt Weinberg).
The plot centred on the fact that the O'Keefe parents had homeschooled their children, with the dramatic and comic interest of the stories arising in situations where the children were beginning to experience the outside world.
There was a lot of controversy about this show among parents who homeschool their children, as they felt it portrayed homeschooling in a negative light.[1]
