The New World Order is a controversial book by Alexei Ledyaev of the New Generation Church, Riga, interpreting and applying Biblical prophesies and the Great Commission to the millennium.
The most controversial idea that has been expressed in the book that Church should not preach the Gospel targeting only poors, but also and especially towards rich and authorities, because whole country and nation are dependent on their decisions. By reaching the elite of state society Church is able to reach everybody with state aid. For instance, Alexei Ledyaev responding on question about a delay of building Church building on not long time ago purchased lot of land expressed his believe that probably christian government is going to build the building with state money. For a solid example for New World Order where Church will rule Alexei Ledyaev points on USA as christian country.
This doctrine was rejected by many pentecostal churches as misleading and even heresy and Anti-Christ theology. Bible teachers strongly agree with Alexei Ledyaev that Church should expect such power, but during Messianic Age. Strong critics were received from authoritative Bible teacher from Sweden Ulf Ekman. However, Alexei Ledyaev's teaching first expressed in the book seems to ripe first fruits - christian conservative party in Latvia have been elected in state Parliament and participates in ruling coalition.
