The Nest is a creature feature horror film, based on the novel by Eli Cantor (under the psedonym of Gregory A Douglas), from Roger Corman's Concorde Pictures. The tagline is "Roaches have never tasted flesh...until now." Flesh-eating roaches terrorize a peaceful island community presented as a New England fishing village. However, the film was created on location at Bronson Caves, Bronson Canyon, Griffith Park in Los Angeles.
