The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Perilous Journey is the follow-up to the 1st book of the series, The Mysterious Benedict Society. It is written by Trenton Lee Stewart, and was published in hardcover in May 2008. In this book, "Number Two" and Mr. Benedict gets kidnapped by Mr. Curtain. The four children, Reynie, Sticky, Kate, and Constance, along with Rhonda go on a long journey in attempts to find them.
