The Myanmar Times

The Myanmar Times (Burmese: Image:Myanmartimes.png; MLCTS: mran ma: tuing:; IPA: [mjànmá táɪn]) is a weekly newspaper based in Yangon, Burma. It is published in both English and Burmese. The Myanmar Times was founded by Ross Dunkley, an Australian, and Sonny Swe in 2000. The newspaper, although privately-owned by Myanmar Consolidated Media Co., Ltd., is affiliated to the government. Its publications are heavily censored by the Ministry of Information.
