Their first album, SurrenderEnder, was met with critical acclaim and national attention from both press and radio. The band debuted on the CMJ charts and climbed to #80. .[citation needed] The band has played at various industry festivals, including South By Southwest, the CMJ Festival, and The Warped Tour. Over the course of these tours and shows, the band has played with a list of artists that are both similar and dissimilar, such as The Offspring, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, The Thrills, and countless others. In the last few years The Murdocks have done countless national tours. Since the band's inception, there have been 5 official releases. The latest is the Roar! EP, released on the Surprise Truck Entertainment label (Hollywood, CA) in April of 2008, with a full-length album to follow by year's end.
