"The Morning Sad" is a single used for promotion only by the band Veruca Salt. It appears in the album Eight Arms to Hold You.

"The Morning Sadness" was written to a boyfriend who had a discourse with a girlfriend the night before and a song is written to bring out the arguments and the reason as to why they keep arguing over the same issue. The song is written out as kind of a truce.
