The Moral Of The Story is the street album by the rapper Saigon,[1] it is the prequel to Saigon's debut album, The Greatest Story Never Told. It was released on November 13, 2007 on Abandoned Nation. The album was being distributed exclusively through eBay, but is now available at MixtapeMerchants.com.

It features original material and tracks that did not make The Greatest Story Never Told. Saigon stated that it's better than most rapper's studio albums. Speaking on the album Saigon said:[2]
When we start dropping these bombs, people are gonna be very aware that it’s a different situation going on. That’s why I kinda like the state of the music game because now I feel like I can be more impactful. I don’t see nobody standing in my way. If you know you’re a good fighter and they got you studying tape of a bunch of bums—a bunch of people you know you can knock out easily—you start lickin’ your chops. I’m gonna knock these bums out easily. Musically, lyrically, social commentary, all of that, I don’t see nothin’ out or nothin’ that’s came out in the past few years that really competes with what we’ve created.
Sai stated in an interview with HipHopGame.com that he would make some music videos and release them on the Internet.[3]

According to Saigon the street album is the soundtrack to a novel written by A.C. Clayton. Sai stated the book would be included with the purchase of the album. The novel is loosely based on the lives of kids in the streets.[3] The book follows a kid named "Kay Kay" who goes to jail.
Jay-Z and Swizz Beatz appear on the first track of the album, "C'mon Baby (remix)".[3] The Ill Will artist, Tre Williams guests on "What a Life" while Al B Sure is featured on the track "Homegirl". Grand Puba, Memphis Bleek, Obie Trice and Jovan Dais are also featured on the album.[4] Production on the album is handled by Just Blaze, The Alchemist, Scram Jones, Mark Ronson, Emile, Sha Money XL, Cinemax, J. Cardim and others. The album is hosted by Just Blaze.
