The Monad of Creation is the debut album of the Australian funeral doom group Mournful Congregation, although they released various material before this. The songs were composed over a period of ten years and recorded finally in 2004. The release of this album was scheduled for 2005 by the Japanese label Weird Truth Productions. An LP version was released by Painiac Rec. and a tape version was released by Meurtre Noir Records.

The song "Mother - Water, the Great Sea Wept" contains lyrical excerpts from The Book of Dzyan.
