"The Modern World" was a single released by the British group The Jam on 5th November 1977. Backed by the tracks "Sweet Soul Music", "Back in My Arms Again", and Bricks and Mortar (Part), it reached #36 in the UK Singles chart.
It was the only single to be released from the bands second album This Is The Modern World.
