The Mo-dettes

The Mo-dettes were an all female punk band formed in 1979. They released an album, The Story So Far in 1980, and five singles.
The album chiefly consisted of their own pop-punk with intelligent lyrics, and covers of The Rolling Stones' "Paint it Black" and Edith Piaf's "Milord".
The group disbanded in 1982.
