The Mixtape About Nothing is a mixtape by Washington D.C. rapper Wale. It was released May 30, 2008. The mixtape was mixed by Nick Catchdubs and sponsored by streetwear company 10 Deep.

[edit] Theme

Wale was inspired by the show, Seinfeld, which is referred to as a show about nothing.

"I think I've seen every episode, like, 30 times."

, Wale said in an interview with Hollywood Weekly.[1]

It is not all funny though. In the track "The Kramer", Wale raps about the use of the word Nigger and racism. Hence the title, as Michael Richards (the actor who plays Kramer in the show), went on a racial rant. Actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who plays the character Elaine in Seinfeld, appears on the mixtape.
