The Miser's Hoard is the fourth episode of the ninth series of the British comedy series Dad's Army that was originally transmitted on 23 October 1977.[1]

Frazer keeps his savings in the bank in the form of gold sovereigns. Mainwaring thinks the money would be better kept in a bank - his bank. Rumours spread over Frazer's hoard, and Frazer is spotted setting off to the graveyard with a box. The platoon prepares to investigate.[2]
