The Mickeys are an American Celtic Rock band.

It was formed in the summer of 1995 in Akron, Ohio by Mick Hurray. Initially the band was a four piece who in addition to Mick (guitars and lead vocals) included Anne Alexander (penny whistle, flute), Tom Lilley (guitarist from the band Constant Flux) and Jeffery Wright (also from the band Constant Flux, to play bass) in the initial lineup.

The band was nameless at this point.

The band adopts the name "Mickey's Gang O' Green".

The lineup of the band was transitory and often numerous.

The first gig in the flats, New Years eve 1994/95 at O'Connors.
