The Memoirs of Cleopatra is a novel written by Margaret George and was released on May 15, 1998. The author spent years traveling through different parts of the Mediterranean to research this novel. The story starts off with Cleopatra VII's memories of when she is just three years old and continues until her death. It is written in an autobiographical manner, to make the reader believe the story is Cleopatra's actual memoirs. The book is 968 pages long.
A movie version of The Memoirs of Cleopatra was made a year after its release.
