[edit] History and overview

The show was founded late in 2003 when Tracy Bartram left Fox FM to pursue another career. Jo Stanley, who had been working at the Fox for the show Jodie and Jo, then moved on to Triple M to host a show called The Shebang. Once Tracy Bartram officially left Fox FM for good. Fox FM invited Jo to host the breakfast show, Matt, Jo and Benno with the Fabulous Adam Richard.

However, Chris 'Benno' Bennett left a couple of months into the year due to other commitments, the show was renamed as The Matt & Jo Show with the Fabulous Adam Richard. Not very long later, the show introduced the anchor, Troy Ellis and was renamed to just simply The Matt and Jo Show. The show is known for holding the highest ratings for over a number of years [1]. News updates throughout the show are presented by Susannah Wilson.
