The Martin Agency is an American advertising agency based in Richmond, Virginia probably best known for the tourism campaign and catch-phrase "Virginia is for Lovers" and its ads for GEICO insurance, including the Gecko mascot and cavemen ads.

Founded in 1965 by David N. Martin, it became part of the Interpublic Group of Companies. The agency has been ranked among the best creative agencies in America.[1] Advertising Age ranked The Martin Agency as the #3 US agency brand in 2008 with billings of $600,000,000.[2]
It is currently led by President and CEO John B. Adams, Jr., and President and Creative Director Mike Hughes. Both have received numerous major industry awards over the course of their careers.[3][4]
