The Magnificent Tree is the third album by the Belgian band Hooverphonic. The singles released from this album are "Mad About You", "Out Of Sight", "Vinegar & Salt" and "Jackie Cane". The cover features the band members and a tree located on the town of Kieldrecht in Belgium [1]

Though this album contained many of Hooverphonic's arguable most famous songs, many fans didn't like this album, commenting that it "wasn't Hooverphonic".[citation needed] In many ways, though, this was the album that really brought Hooverphonic onto the world stage, with songs such as "Mad About You" getting attention in the United States, expanding their fan base further afield.[citation needed]

- The Single version of "Out of Sight" is the Al Stone Remix, not the album version.
- The Singles of "Vinegar and Salt" and "Out of Sight" contain "Green" and "Sunday Morning", respecitively, tracks composed for The Magnificent Tree that didn't make it onto the final release.
