The Magnificent Ferengi is a sixth season episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The title is a spoof of the film The Magnificent Seven.
Summary: Quark mounts a rescue mission when his mother, Ishka, is captured by the Dominion and Grand Nagus Zek offers a reward for her return. Quark recruits his brother Rom, his nephew Nog, his cousin Gaila, his homicidal friend Leck and his arch-nemesis Liquidator Brunt. Needless to say they are all incompetant when it comes to a real rescue, and therefore decide to carry it out in true Ferengi fashion: by trading her for the traitorous Vorta Keevan. Things, however, do not go exactly as planned.
Iggy Pop appears in this episode as the Vorta Yelgrun.
