The MOD Squad were a professional wrestling tag team that got their start in the National Wrestling Alliance's Jim Crockett Promotions.

[edit] Career

Mack and James Jefferson started wrestling in 1985 as preliminary wrestlers in the NWA's Jim Crockett Promotions as Mack and Jim Jeffers.

In 1986, the Jefferson brothers changed their gimmick and donned motorcycle police outfits and became The MOD Squad. Jim became Spike and Mack became Basher. They went to Mid-Southern Wrestling and captured the tag team titles as a heel team with manager J.D. Costello.

They moved on to the Central States area and Florida Championship Wrestling where they had more success before retiring in 1991.
