The Luyas is a Montreal musical trio, comprised of Jessie Stein (vocals/guitars), Pietro Amato (French Horn, bells, melodica, keys) (also of Bell Orchestre, Torngat and formally a horn player for Arcade Fire) and Stefan Schneider (drums) (also of Bell Orchestre). They did their first live performance in December 2006. In recent months they have received much attention and interest . Their first album, "Faker Death" came out in August 2007. A Re-release is scheduled for Jan 2008 on Pome Records.
