The Locust was The Locust's fourth release and first full length album. It was released on 12" LP in September 1998 (see 1998 in music) on the Gold Standard Labs record label and contains an eclectic mesh of punk, hardcore, and grindcore which mixes together to create a 16 minute long album. The CD version is a 3" cd inside a regular jewel case, it was released in May 1999
