The Little Cars

The Little Cars (Os Carrinhos in Portuguese) is a series of computer graphics Brazilian films produced by Rexmore Company do Brazil and released by Inspired Distribution.[1] The series was distributed in North America by Branscome International.[2]

- The first film, 33 minute The Little Cars in the Great Race (Os Carrinhos - Em A Grande Corrida),[3] was released on June 20, 2006.
- The second film, 44 minute The Little Cars 2: Rodopolis Adventures (Os Carrinhos 2 - Aventuras Em Rodópolis), was released on May 29, 2007.[4]
- The third film, 45 minute The Little Cars 3: Fast and Curious (Os Carrinhos 3 - Velozes e Curiosos),[5] was released on December 18, 2007.
- The fourth film is Os Carrinhos 4 - Novas Histórias Geniais
A completion disc called "Super Highway" includes two of the films.[6]

- Cruise (Tonny Tunado in Portuguese) - A taxi that became a racer
- Coupe (Cris Crash in Portuguese) - Cruise's girlfriend
- Simone - A journalist for the Raceopolis News
- Lugnut (Kombo in Portuguese) - A tow truck
- Wrangler (Victor Grande in Portuguese) - Wrangler has never won a race, but he believes that he is the best racer.
- Ed Willis - The editor for the city's newspaper
- Mister V8 (Senhor V8 in Portuguese) - The owner of the courier company
- Champion (Campeão in Portuguese) - The champion of the Raceopolis team

Marcus Aurelius Canônico of Folha de S. Paulo described The Little Cars series as a derivative of the American Pixar film Cars. Canônico discussed whether lawsuits from Pixar would appear. The Brazilian Ministry of Culture posted Marcus Aurelius Canônico's article on its website.[8]

Erik Henriksen, a reporter[9] from The Portland Mercury, criticized the company that produced The Little Cars of being "the laziest/cheapest movie studio of all time" due to similarities between The Little Cars and Cars.[10]
Rotten Tomatoes does not have ratings for any of the The Little Cars films due to a lack of reviews.[11][12][13]
