The Legend of Zelda (comics)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Legend of Zelda was a series of comics, made by Valiant Comics, based on The Legend of Zelda video game series. They expanded greatly on the land of Hyrule. The comics fit sometime during or after the second game, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. Few issues were made, and they were not of very good quality in art, but were generally consistent with the games. While some of the characters resemble those from the TV series, Link is entirely redrawn, now with reddish hair and a rather large nose.

Two volumes were released: The first in 1990 and the second in 1991, with 5 issues in Volume 1 (numbered 1-5) and 5 issues in Volume 2 (numbered 1-5). Many stories are repeated in both volumes, but there are some uniques stories in each volume.
